Mom and Dad and Lulu move to a strange country on the other side of the world. Against Lulu’s will she worries about everything, almost all the time. The worst part is school. Mom and Dad try to help, but they don’t understand. Then something happens that does help. It helps Lulu and Mom and Dad.

A Third Culture Kid (TCK) is a person who has spent a significant part of his or her developmental years outside of their parents’ culture. It's important to understand these concepts to prevent difficulties related to identity and belonging.

Authors
Kari gave life to Lulu. She has always wanted to write a children's book. Kari works as a clinical psychologist and yoga teacher. She has moved "here and there" seven times, as a grown up. She has first hand experience of the joys and sorrows of navigating cultures and being a mom for a family in global transition.

Ramón is an IT engineer recently coming out of the closet as an illustrator. Although he enjoyed drawing as a child, his creative side was lost somewhere along the way. Thanks to his wife Kari, he is once again enjoying use of the right side of his brain. Ramón has moved "here and there" eight times. He has first hand experience of the joys and sorrows of navigating cultures as a CCK and TCK.
